Skips
Below is a list of skips that we offer and with this we have provided details of what each skips general purpose is, to help you make the right selection:
2 cu.yard skip - Small garden house waste or room projects
4 - 6 cu.yard skips - Small kitchen / bathroom and commercial waste
8 cu.yard skip - Most popular skip
12 – 16 cu.yard skips - Large house projects / loft conversions
6 - 16 yard enclosed skips - Suitable for jobs which require secure storage of waste materials
RO-RO Containers
These containers are generally used by the building/demolition trade. They come in various sizes and are ideal for shop fittings to the largest of clearance jobs.
20 cu.yard RO-RO - Suitable for heavy waste such as inert or mixed rubble
40 cu.yard RO-RO - Used for site clearances / shop fits
40 cu.yard enclosed RO-RO - Suitable for temporary storage of waste on site, before removal
55 cu.yard RO-RO - Used for large site clearances / shop fits
What cannot go into the skip
The following is a list of typical items that cannot be placed in skips without prior agreement – asbestos, solvents, hazardous and toxic materials, fridge freezers, batteries, tyres, mini excavator tracks etc. If you have specific items that you are unsure about, please call us to check.
Once you have chosen the right skip to suit your needs, please use our online enquiry form to obtain a price. If you intend to keep the skip on a public highway, your local council may also charge a small road licence fee, which normally lasts for two weeks.

FAQ'S
Q. What areas do you cover?
A. We serve all areas of Sheffield, Barnsley and Worksop. We also supply skips/RO-RO's to some parts of North East Derbyshire which includes Dronfield, Eckington and North Chesterfield. We can supply to other areas but this is subject to individual quotes.
Q. How soon can you deliver a skip/RO-RO after ordering?
A. Generally, if you order a skip before 12 p.m then we can usually deliver it the same day, or first thing the following day.
Q. How much notice do you need before collecting the skip or RO-RO?
A. We intend to collect skips and RO-RO's the same day the request is submitted, but we ask for 24 hours notice if possible. The same also applies for skip exchanges.
Q. When do I have to make payment?
A. Payment is to be made when the skip/RO-RO is delivered. However, customers with credit accounts have agreed terms.
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. Currently, we only accept payment by either cash, cheque or BACS. We are making provisions to accept card payments in the near future.
Q. When do I need a road licence?
A. A road licence is required when placing a skip/RO-RO on any public highway. This includes pavements, roads and any area that is not considered private land. Failure to obtain a road licence will usually result in a £50 fine, liable to the customer.
Q. How long is a road licence valid for and how much does one cost?
A. Usually 2 weeks, however different councils have different regulations in place which means that price and length of validity will vary. You will be advised when placing a skip/RO-RO order of the charges you will incur.
